They're here - 2026\27 Fixtures Revealed!
The fixtures for the 2026/27 League Two season have been released, with Shrewsbury Town beginning their league campaign with an away trip to Tranmere Rovers.
In a change from recent seasons, Town's first competitive fixture will come in the Carabao Cup on Saturday, August 8, with the first-round draw taking place at 4.30pm today.
Salop's League Two opener follows a week later at Tranmere on August 15 before they return to the Croud Meadow for their first home league match against Barnet on Saturday, August 22.
Gavin Cowan's side then welcome Salford on August 29 before back-to-back away games against recently promoted Rochdale on September 1 and Fleetwood on September 5.
Town will renew a number of familiar rivalries this season, with Crewe Alexandra, Walsall and Port Vale all competing in League Two.
The first derby comes on September 19 when Salop travel to Crewe, with the return fixture at the Croud Meadow scheduled for April 17.
Meetings with Walsall are set for December 19 away and January 9 at home, while Town host Port Vale on December 12 before making the trip to Vale Park on April 10.
December also brings a first league visit to York's new LNER stadium for many supporters, with Cowan's side travelling there on December 1.
Over the festive period, Town host Swindon on Boxing Day before travelling to Newport on December 29 and Accrington Stanley on New Year's Day.
The Easter schedule sees Salop entertain Accrington Stanley on March 27 before travelling to Swindon two days later.
The closing weeks of the campaign include trips to Colchester on April 21 and Cheltenham on May 1, with a home fixture against Grimsby on April 27 in between.
The 46th league game of the campaign will see Town host York at the Croud Meadow on May 8.
