Get involved in an academy coaching session at our open day.

Save the Date: Shrewsbury Town Open Day Returns on Sunday, July 26.

And there will be plenty of football-themed activities for Salop supporters to enjoy, including the opportunity to take part in coaching sessions delivered by our academy staff.

Between 1pm and 2pm on the Community 3G Pitch, the academy will be running two separate events.

On one half of the pitch, our under-15s players and coaches will showcase a live training session, giving supporters an insight into academy life and player development, some of our under-18s will also be involved.

The other half of the pitch will host an academy engagement session, where children aged 6 to 16 can get involved in a range of fun football activities.

Participants are welcome to join in for as little or as long as they like during the session.

To help us gauge numbers, we are asking supporters to register their interest in the academy activities.

The academy sessions are just part of a packed programme of activities taking place throughout the Open Day.

Supporters will have the chance to meet their favourite Shrewsbury Town players, with both the men’s first team and women’s team involved across the day.

There will also be a variety of family-friendly attractions, as well as a Q&A session with manager Gavin Cowan.
