Shrewsbury Town sign Byron Pendleton

Another powerful force arrives on the Salop back line. Shrewsbury Town are thrilled to announce the signing of Byron Pendleton, a physical, versatile 20 year old out of Birmingham City.

Earlier today, Salop won the race over competing clubs to secure the talented youngster.
Pendleton came through the Birmingham City academy, eventually earning the U-21 captaincy, then had successful loan spells at Yeovil Town and Brackley Town, where he built a relationship with Gavin Cowan.

Pendleton went on to collect the Captain's Player of the Season and Players' Player of the Season awards at Brackley Town.
Byron now becomes Salop's 4th signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Arkell Jude-Boyd, Isaac Fletcher, and Josh Davison.
Byron joins us for 2 years, with an option for a 3rd.
