Goalkeeper Cameron Gregory returns to Shrewsbury on short-term deal!

Shrewsbury Town are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Cameron Gregory on a short-term deal.

The 26-year-old returns to the club, having previously been part of our academy as a teenager.

Gregory is well known to manager Gavin Cowan, with the pair having previously worked together at Brackley.

He arrives on a short-term deal after Salop goalkeeper Sam Proctor picked up a knock.

Cameron will be eligible to be part of the squad taking on Crewe tomorrow.

Manager Gavin Cowan said: “I’m really pleased to welcome Cameron back to the club.

“He’s a very talented goalkeeper, he’s local and, had it not been for an injury, he would have already secured a move earlier in the season.

“With Sam Proctor’s injury, it’s great to be able to bring someone in who is connected to the club, knows the area and, importantly, is a very good goalkeeper.

“It’s a short-term deal, but we’re really pleased to have Cameron on board and I’m looking forward to working with him again.”
