Manager Gavin Cowan met with the media after watching his Shrewsbury side play out a 1-1 draw Crewe.

Jordan Gibson opened the scoring at Gresty Road before Salop deservedly equalised through George Lloyd.

In truth, though, Town should have won it - with Cowan's side having 21 shots on goal.

They included Isaac Fletcher hitting the post and Will Boyle and Kian McMahon-Brown going close.

Speaking post-match, Gavin said he felt his side should have claimed all three points.

The boss also expressed his pride at seeing George Lloyd get off the mark for the season.

And Gavin praised Town's travelling fans - with more than 1,300 making the trip to Cheshire and giving his team fantastic support throughout.
