"They've just got to convert and it will come. I'm absolutely of the belief that if we keep playing like that - out of possession, in possession, as long as we don't forget that bit, it will come. And when it comes, it will be devastating."

Manager Gavin Cowan chatted to the media following the Jersey Mike's Subs' Trophy game at Tranmere.

A solitary goal from Dylan Jones won it for hosts on the night.

But the scoreline didn't tell reflect the story of the game, with Salop by far the better team on the night.

George Lloyd, Tom Sang, Isaac Lee, Joe Gbode, Isaac Fletcher and Arkell Jude-Boyd all went close in what was an impressive performance from Cowan's side.

And speaking post-match, Gavin gave his thoughts on the game - which came just a few days after Town put in another excellent performance at Crewe.
